Burial Services

Traditional Service

Traditional Funeral Services are the most common choice for commemorating your loved one’s life. Elgin Funeral Home takes great pride in providing the most affordable and dignified funeral service in the Central Texas area. This charge includes our Professional Services of Funeral Director and Staff, Removal of the Deceased from the place of death, Embalming, Dressing, Casketing and Cosmetizing, obtaining necessary authorizations, permits and death certificates, DVD Memorial Presentation, use of facilities and staff for a Visitation at Funeral Home or Church and a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home or a Church, and Interment Services at the cemetery. As a symbol of solidarity and reverence, the Hearse is included to transport your loved one to the cemetery. A Casket will need to be purchased through the funeral home or provided by the contract purchaser. Due to varying rates, this fee does not include any expenses incurred by a cemetery nor Opening/Closing of the Grave.

Graveside Service

Graveside Funeral Services are a perfect way to provide an intimate tribute for your loved one. This charge includes our Professional Services of Funeral Director and Staff at a reduced proportionate rate, Removal of the Deceased from the place of death, Embalming, Dressing and Casketing, obtaining necessary authorizations, permits and death certificates, DVD Memorial Presentation, use of facilities and staff for a Visitation at Funeral Home and a Graveside Service. As a symbol of solidarity and reverence, the Hearse is included to transport your loved one to the cemetery. A Casket will need to be purchased through the funeral home or provided by the contract purchaser. Due to varying rates, this fee does not include any expenses incurred by a cemetery nor Opening/Closing of the Grave.

Immediate Burial

$3,000

Immediate and/or Green Burial is the minimum requirement for carrying out a Funeral Rite with dignity and compassion. Due to the growing demand for simplicity and natural burials, Elgin Funeral Home has tailored an option to suit those needs. This charge includes our Professional Services of Funeral Director and Staff at a reduced proportionate rate, Removal of the Deceased from the place of death, temporary shelter of unembalmed remains for up to 48 hours, obtaining necessary authorizations, permits and death certificates, and Bathing/Disinfecting Unembalmed Remains, use of facilities and staff for a Graveside Service. The family may provide any suitable container to serve for burial or purchase one through the Funeral Home. Due to varying rates, this fee does not include any expenses incurred by a cemetery nor Opening/Closing of the Grave.
