William Reese

William Bradley quotWildBillquot Reese, 47, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, February 6, 2012. Bill was the second of two sons born to C J Reese, Jr. and Billie Marie Scott Reese in Austin on March 4, 1964. He grew up and lived in Elgin, but spent a lot of time working out of town on oil drilling rigs working mainly for Patterson drilling Co. These jobs gave him the adventures of travelling from South Texas to Oklahoma where he picked up a lot of amazing friends along the way. Bill enjoyed bird hunting and fishing and often talked about Rockport as being one of the places to go. He was to bring a smile to his friend39s faces with his unique sense of humor and his love of life. This past year he fought a courageous battle against cancer and had all of his friends and family at his side up until his passing, which is exactly what he wanted.
