Twyla Sueanne Cook Rivers, 37, passed from this life to begin her eternal rest with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, early Saturday morning, August 11, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronnie and four children. The family will received guest at the Elgin Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, August 17th. A Home Going Celebration was conducted at Calvary Baptist Church of San Antonio at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 18th with the Reverend, Kevin Nelson officiating. Interment took place Monday, August 20th at Elgin Latin Cemetery with the Reverend, Byron Green officiating.
