Twyla Walton Nash, age 56, of Elgin, Texas went to her eternal home on October 27, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.
Twyla was born in Clovis, New Mexico on September 7, 1966. On June 20, 1992, Twyla married the love of her life Marc Nash. They have three children together: Landry, Lacey, and Zeth. The Nash family lived in Austin and Bastrop till 2004 when they moved to Elgin.
Twyla was the co-owner and operator of Elgin Christmas Tree Farm with husband, Marc. Even in business she strived to share God’s word and the love of Jesus. She was actively involved in the Christian community in Elgin, Texas. Twyla loved music and singing. She was always sharing God’s love with others and had many wonderful friends that she loved fellowshipping with. Twyla dedicated her life to raising her children including several who came into her life over the years needing extra love and support. She always looked for ways to better her community.
Twyla is survived by her parents, Bill and Kaye Walton; husband of 30 years, Marc Nash; two daughters, Landry Cesare and son-in-law William Cesare, and Lacey Nash; one son, Zeth Nash; two sisters, Seresa Romero and Hillary Rubel and husbands; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Twyla’s life will be held at Lost Pines Cowboy Church in Elgin, Saturday, November 5th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gregory Long and Dr. Robert Waddle presiding. Repast will follow at the First United Methodist Church of Elgin.
