Pastor Tony Lamaro Johnson has transitioned into Glory on Sunday afternoon, March 5, 2017. His passion and love for his work in Christ with Ministry of Challenge, will be greatly rewarded by our Lord and Savior. We will continue to embrace his vision for "Reaching Out" and being readily available to those in need. He knew what it was to be enslave and trapped by the snares of the evil one. After seeing a child being sold for crack cocaine, God heard his cry.... These and many experiences like it, moved his spirit to help the lives of others with an unselfish and tireless fervor. Like Moses who did not enter the promise Land, Pastor Tony was called home before his new chapel and recovery center was complete, but if the Lord be willing, we will!

He left behind many who loved him dearly, his wife, Juanita Johnson; his children, Tabitha, Gary, Racheal, and Tony, II.; his grandchildren, Lyric, D'Angelo, Gionnie, Daniel, Llegend, and Zayin; his mother, Nettie Cameron Henry; his brothers, Hyawatha Johnson and James Cameron; his sister, Carla Johnson; and many extended family, and dear friends. Thank you Pastor Tony… Thank you my Beloved… Thank you, DADDY… Thank you, Friend... You will be missed, NEVER FORGOTTEN, and your legacy will surely live on. May you find rest and peace in the arms of the Most Holy.
