Theresa Sandel

Theresa Janelle Sandel, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2020. Theresa was born in Waco, Texas to Marianne and Kenneth Little on July 18, 1958. At 13, she was adopted by Bill Sandel.

Theresa was a free spirit and lived her life on her terms. She lived in many places throughout the United States and eventually built a home and life of special friendships in Elgin.  Her relationship with Jesus and the support of her friends were very special to her. She loved everyone in the best ways she knew how.

She is preceded in death by her birth father, Kenneth Little; her adoptive father, Bill Sandel; and her maternal grandparents, Fannie and Bob Rose.

She is survived by her mother, Marianne Rose; two children, Sarah and husband Freddy Lopez of Wylie and Austin Anderson; three grandchildren, Hannah and husband Josh Chalmers, Houston and Hewitt Lopez; great-granddaughter, Lyra Chalmers; sisters, Kathy and husband Larry Fabian; Temple and husband Jason Diehl; numerous extended family, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Theresa’s Life will be conducted graveside at the Youngs Prairie Cemetery, Thursday, June 25th at 2:00 PM with Reverend Temple Diehl presiding.
