Sharon Torres

Sharon Lee Torres, 66, of McDade, formerly of Austin, passed away early Friday morning, July 29, 2016. Sharon was born the first of three children to Leroy Edwards, Sr. and Viola Marie Bailey Edwards in Austin, Texas on January 23, 1950. Sharon attended schools in Austin and lived all around Central Texas before making Bastrop County home with her four children. Sharon worked as a cashier for many years, before her health prevented her from working. She loved to spend time with family and friends, especially sharing her thoughts and humor with her friends on Facebook.She was preceded in death by both her parents and her son, Kevin Ray Bergman.She is survived by her husband, Jefferey Kruse; her four children, Beverly Ann Franzetti and husband Ernest Beltran of McDade, Brian Lee Franzetti of McDade, Robert James Latta, Jr. and wife Vanessa; Elaine Necole Latta and husband Glenn Smith; her brother Leroy Edwards, Jr. and wife Frances of McDade; and her sister, Elaine Rogers and her partner Wayne Kirk of Corpus Christi; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and two dear friends, Christina Machado of Austin and Lela Resendez of Bastrop.A Memorial Service will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of McDade on Friday, August 5, 2016, at 11:00 AM with Pastor, Sam Dunkin officiating. A Private Inurnment will follow at a later date.
