Rozette Jackson

Rozette Renea Jackson, 24, was born on November 1, 1991, to Yolanda Renea Jackson and Walter Bell in Chicago, Illinois. Rozette"s earthly life journey ended on July 9, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Rozette came to Elgin, Texas at the age of four, and attended Elgin High School. She grew up with a strong Christian foundation, accepted Christ at an early age, and was baptized by the Reverend L.B. Evans at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a caregiver at heart and worked for several Home Health organizations before her ailing health prevented her from continuing. Rozette loved all children and would take care of anybody"s babies. Rozette had two little cousins that she truly adored, Trinity Jackson and Jamarien Jackson. She was blessed with three Godchildren that she loved dearly, Allissa Burnham, Christopher Fitzgerald, and Curtis Fitzgerald.Waiting in Heaven are her brother, Justin Kendall Jackson; her great grandmother, Elise Penson; six great-great aunts and three great-great uncles.Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Yolanda Renea Jackson; her grandmother and grandfather, Eloise and Frankie Wright; two uncles, Kenneth Jackson and Darrell Jackson and his wife Debbie; two sisters, Rosalyn Lewis and Tisha Riley; great-great aunt and uncle, Verna Henderson and Arthur Russell and wife, Alice; Momma Lisa Wilson; and a host of cousins and friends.The family will receive guests at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Elgin from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, July 15th. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church on Saturday, July 16th at 2:00 PM with Reverend, B.K. Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Sayers Cemetery.
