Roy Rivers Jr

Roy Dale Rivers, Jr. passed away peacefully, Sunday evening, September 9, 2012 in San Angelo, Texas. He was born in Bastrop County on July 20, 1923, to Winnie Huston Rivers and Royal Dale Rivers, Sr. Roy lived in Elgin Texas most of his life and attended the Elgin schools. He also attended Kemper Military School in Booneville, MO, where he excelled in football, track, and met many of his future lifelong friends.
