Roselinda Colin

Roselinda Carrillo Colin, 61, of Austin, passed away Friday evening, November 25, 2016. Roselinda was born in Taylor, Texas on May 23, 1955. Roselinda graduated from Elgin High School and spent the majority of her life in Austin. Roselinda exemplified what it meant to be a God fearing woman for she had a big heart, caring spirit and a desire to take care of everyone. She enjoyed life and loved people especially her children. She was great Mother providng for her four children meeting their needs, from money to a special comfort foodor just a simple hug with a kiss. A hard working woman, Roselinda always had job of some kind. She was the owner of the Pizzario Pizza Parlor located on Main Street in Elgin.

She is preceded in death by both her father, Francisco “Frank” Carrillo; her son, Joel Carrillo; and two sisters, Rita Thomas and Esmeralda Carrillo.

Roselinda’s legacy will be cherished by her three children, Stephanie and husband Joseph Rodriquez, Josh Carrillo and partner Martin Gonzales, and Tomazina Colin; her four grandchildren, Joseph Rodriquez, Jr., Jonathan Rodriquez, Ayla L. Gonzalez, and Aiden P. Gonzalez; her mother, Aurora N. Carrillo; her two brothers, Israel and Frank Carrillo, Jr., and sister-in-law, Dianna Ontiveros; two aunts, Billie Jonse and Bea Kerrigan; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a countless number of friends and other relatives.

She will be greatly missed, continued to be loved and appreciated for all of the sacrifices that she made for her family over the years.
