Ronald Coy

Ronald Lee Coy, 72, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Ron was born on January 8, 1945 in Canton, Ohio. Ron was an a long-time member of St. Louis Catholic Church of Austin, where he was very involved with the prayer group. He loved to spend time traveling with his wife, Anita.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Ferrales Coy; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Janie and Estanislado Ferrales; and his brother, Harry Coy.

Ron is survived by his son, Mark Coy (Bella); his daughter, Bonnie Coy; sisters Janet Kimball and Shirley Pelfrey; grandchildren, Alexis, Juan Jose, and future grandchild on the way; great-grandson, Ray, Jr., brother-in-laws, Jesse, Richard (Margaret), and Alfred (Cheryl) Ferrales.

The family will receive guest at the Elgin Funeral Home on Sunday, October 15th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the A Vigil for the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Christian Burial Mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, October 16th at 10:00 AM with Father George Officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
