Roger Lewein

Roger Allen Lewein, 70, of Pflugerville, Texas, died Wednesday March 15, 2017. Roger was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but prior to moving to Texas, spent most of his adult life in San Jose, California. He served in the U.S. NAVY from 1961-1964 as a Radioman, and was a devoted husband, father and brother. Those who knew Roger, knew he had a passion for country dancing, 1800, and spending time with his wife and friends.

He is predeceased by his mother and father Martha Ogram and Stephen Lewein.

He is survived by his wife, Susie of Pflugerville, his three sons, Richard of California, Allen of Nevada, and Steve of Tennessee; his daughters Brenda and her husband Kenny Chambers of Elgin and Angie Baugus of Virginia; his sister, Stacey and her husband Eddie of Round Rock, He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren from California, Nevada, Tennessee and Texas.

The family will receive guests at the Elgin Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 29th with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment is scheduled with Military Honors at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery, Killeen at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 29th.
