The Reverend, Leon L. Lott, 74, of Pflugerville, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday morning, January 22, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. After graduating from Lulling High School, he joined the U.S. Army, where he served as a field radio repair man for four years. His military service led him to civil service with N.A.S.A., where he had the privilege of working on the Nations First Man in Space program in the 1960s. In 1962, he married the love of his life, Kathryn Louise Pannell. After his work with N.A.S.A., Leon began a career and passion in ministry. He would serve in various capacities of ministry, to include the positions of Pastor, Evangelist, District Youth Minister, and Home Mission work on Indian Reservations, then ultimately building and founding the Living Faith Worship Center in Elgin, Texas with his wife Kathryn.He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathryn L. Lott two sons and one daughter, Laren Lott and wife, Dana, Sherry Miller, and Christopher Lott and wife Nicole six grandchildren, Dustin Trammel and wife Tiffany, Celeste Breaux, Ross Breaux and wife Hannah, Cameron Lott, David Lott, and Damon Lott three greatgrandchildren, Tysan, Taylor, and Gavin and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.The family will receive guests at the Family Worship Center of Elgin from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a prayer service conducted at 7:00 PM Friday, January 25th. A Celebration of Leons life will be conducted at the Family Worship Center of Elgin under the auspices of Living Faith Worship Center under the auspices of Living Faith Worship Center of Elgin at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 26th with the Reverend, D.R. Luce officiating. Interment is scheduled with Military Honors at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas at 1:00 PM Monday, January 28th.
