Raymundo Silva

Raymundo A. Silva, Sr., 87, of Elgin, Texas passed away peacefully, Monday evening, September 26, 2011, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on January 20, 1924 to Felipe Silva and Casimira Arguello in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. In 1953 he married the love of his life, Minerva Rodriguez and in 1955, they moved to the United States to work and raise a family. He worked many years at the brick yard and in 1975, began working for Super S Foods, where he retired after 15 years. Since their move to Elgin, he and his wife were active members of De la Iglesia Monte de Los Olivos de Elgin.
