It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Randall David Calhoun, who left us too soon at the age of 44 on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Born on September 10, 1980, in a world that became brighter with his presence, Randall was a devoted husband, a cherished son, and a friend to many.
Randall's journey through life began in the warm embrace of his loving parents, Velma and Marcus Calhoun. He found his greatest joy on July 13, 2006, when he wed his beloved wife, Pattie Calhoun. Together, they cultivated a bond that flourished over 26 wonderful years, filled with laughter, love, and memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew them.
In the realm of work, Randall was proud to call himself a carpenter, where he worked side by side with his dad remodeling homes - a craft that reflected his dedication and skill. Randall's spirit shone brightest when surrounded by those he loved he cherished; and especially loved the spending time with rod in hand during those peaceful hours on the water fishing.
Randall is remembered not only for his devotion to family but also for the warmth he exuded, which touched everyone he met. He now joins those who preceded him in death, including his step-father, Cline Meredith; his dear sister-in-law, Sherri Calhoun; and his beloved four-legged companions, Denver and Bonnie Calhoun.
Randall's legacy of love extends beyond his immediate family to include his loving wife, Pattie Calhoun of 26 years; and parents, Velma and Marcus Calhoun; adoring in-laws, Cheryl and Dennis Smith; a vibrant circle of siblings: Sandra Roller, Heather Calhoun, and Marcus D. Calhoun, wife Carrie; In-law siblings, Michelle and Carl Smith, Tanya and Rick Cunningham, Michelle Smith, Joseph Smith, and Bobby Meredith. His many nieces and nephews—Ashley Brown, Paige and Jordan Shepard, Madison and Preston Calhoun, Abigail Calhoun, Michael Cunningham, Collin Cunningham, Mia Smith, Andrew Smith, Emma Smith, Lana Smith, Linda Smith, Kole Lee, Anthony and Aiden Salazar—were bright stars in his life, and he took immense pride in each of their achievements. The joy he found in being an uncle was matched only by the boundless love he had for his great-nieces and great-nephews, Miah Cunningham, Georgia Calhoun, and Jordon Shepard II, and his two furry babies, Bella and DB Calhoun.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Randall David Calhoun, let us honor his memory by cherishing the moments we have with one another and embracing the love that unites us all. His spirit will forever linger in our hearts, guiding us as we navigate through the waters of life. Rest in peace, dear Randall; you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
