Ramona Alvarado

Ramona Alvarado, 64, housewife of Pflugerville, formerly of Elgin, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012. She was born to Gregorio Renteria and Julia Flores Renteria in Elgin, Texas March 21, 1948. On May 16, 1970, Ramona Renteria married her first and only true love, Benigno Alvarado, and were united in Holy Matrimony at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin. A union she made with a man who kept his promise to love and protect her until her last breath, even after diagnosis of Alzheimers 14 years ago. Ramona raised three children of her own, along with many other cousins including, Larriann, Monica, and Monte Leon Alvarado. She was a mother like no other she was our hero and everything to us.
