Pauline Munoz Gomez, 64, of Georgetown passed away peacefully on Sunday, May, 23, 2021, encircled by her loving family all bound by embrace. Pauline was born on May 3, 1957, to God fearing parents, John Munoz and Paula Ortiz Munoz in Taylor, Texas. She grew up in a loving Christian household, which included seven sisters and four brothers, Petra, Lydia, Esperanza, Janie, Josie, Ramona, Emily, John, Paul, Joe, and Isador. Once Pauline and her siblings were old enough to help the family work, they tended to nearby cotton fields in the Texas sun. It was there, she learned an amazing work-ethic and dedication to wanting a close-knit family of her own one day.
When Pauline was a teenager, the Munoz family purchased two homes on a beautiful property in Hutto, Texas. After moving to Hutto, she attended Hutto High School, where she was the football sweetheart and met her high school sweetheart Amador Gomez Jr. They later wed when Pauline was 21, on December 23rd,1978. In the winter of 1980, their lovely daughter, Jackie Ann Gomez was born; and in the summer of 1983, their handsome son, Carlos Amador Gomez was born. Pauline and Amador share 3 precious grandchildren, Iris Kristi Eppinett, Vianna Elizabeth Salinas, and Cesar Amador Gomez.
Throughout the years, Pauline worked hard, but she also enjoyed her leisurely time with her family. She befriended many, as her warm heart attracted those around her. In recent years, Pauline most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going for long walks, and most of all listening to good music. Pauline possessed a beautiful soul that will be greatly missed. She is now in the loving arms of her maker, Jesus Christ, in paradise.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalms 27 Verse 1
“May we not ever take life for granted...and be grateful & appreciate life, and He who is our Creator.” - Pauline Gomez
