Mrs. Lonnie J Vincent Fletcher was called home to glory to be with the Lord on the morning of January 23, 2023.
Lonnie was born to the late Dock Vincent and Frankie Lee Humphries Vincent in Elgin Texas. As a child she was nurtured and rooted in the admiration of the Lord. Lonnie had a strong Christian foundation and accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, in Elgin Texas.
Lonnie attended the public schools of Bastrop County and graduated from Booker T Washington High, Class of 1962. She continued her education in Waco Texas at Baylor University and Paul Quinn in elementary education.
On March 30, 1966, Lonnie was united in Holy Matrimony to Odis Lee Fletcher and moved to San Diego California. Odis was in the Navy. On March the 12, 1968, while stationed in Oak Harbor, Washington, they were blessed with their loving daughter Rhonda. Lonnie loved traveling and had the opportunity to live in many states. In 1974, the family moved back to Alameda California, and there, they were blessed with another bundle of joy, a daughter, Felicia on February 28, 1974.
Lonnie and her family moved back to Texas to be near families in Elgin, and Taylor Texas. Lonnie united back at Mount Moriah Baptist Church. Lonnie supported the church faithfully until her health failed her. She was employed at Motorola and Freescale for 33 years where she was a supervisor and process engineer.

Lonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Felicia Fletcher; her sister, Clara Jefferson; her brothers, Norman Vincent and Dock Gilbert Vincent, and her parents Dock and Frankie Vincent.
Mrs. Lonnie Jean Fletcher’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Odis; her daughter, Rhonda and husband, Garland Isaac; her five grandchildren, Breylin Isaac and wife Catherine, Lateryn Alexander, T’Asialyn Alexander, Jacoryn Isaac, and Lekoilyn Isaac, a brother, Larry Vincent, a sister, Deloros Smith, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, including the Mount Moriah Church family.
Serving with Grace and Honor as Men of Honor are Breylin Isaac, Lateryn Alexander, Jacoryn Isaas, Odis C. Fletcher, James Fletcher and Darrell W. Vincent.
Lonnie will lie In-State at Elgin Funeral home on Friday, February 3rd from 12:00 PM unitl 6:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at Mount Moriah Missionarry Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Reverend Steven Ward presiding. Interment will be at Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery on Monday, February 6th at 1:00 PM in Killeen, Texas.
