Mildred Mabry

Mildred Julia Mabry nee Simpson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and greatgreatgrandmother, died peacefully Saturday morning, June 25, 2011, in Elgin, Texas. She was 97 years old. Mildred was born on Post Mountain in Burnet, Texas, March 28, 1914, She was the second of nine children born to Andes Emmet Simpson and Sarah quotSallyquot Esterline Debo, whose families were early settlers of Texas and Burnet County. As a young child her family resettled in Winters, Texas, where she grew up and met her future husband of 67 years, James Earl Mabry.
