Maximiliano Tamez, Jr.

On Sunday, July 25, 2021, Maximiliano Tamez Jr, passed away at the age of 73. Max was born on May 30, 1948, to Maximiliano Tamez, Sr. and Oralia Gonzales Tamez in Elgin, TX.

Max was preceded in death by his both his parents, Maximiliano and Oralia; and his sister, Rosemary.

Max leaves in God's hands to cherish his life and legacy, his brothers, Guadalupe, Primitivo, Antonio, and Jaime; his sisters, Janie Flores and Oralia Navejas; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Family and Friends will gather at Elgin Funeral Home for Visitation, Thursday, July 29th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM.  Celebration of Christian Funeral Mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin, Friday, July 30th at 10:00 AM with Father Paul presiding.  Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
