Mary Etta Taylor-Fox, 90, of Bastrop, passed away early Saturday morning, June 11, 2022. She was born on Friday, September 4, 1931, in Red Rock, Texas to Luther and Ruth Taylor.
Mary was a faithful member of Bastrop First Assembly as well as a faithful servant of God. She loved her Lord and reading His Holy Word. She thrived to be the best that she could be as a faithful Christian, servant, and friend. Mary will be missed and cherished by the ones who loved her the most.
She is preceded in death by, her parents, Luther, and Ruth Taylor; one son, Timothy Taylor; and husband, Fred Fox; one sister, Louise Gorman.
Mary is survived by one sister, Dorothy; one brother, Henry (Pansy) of Taylor; one son, Johnny; three daughters, Bernece, Brenda, and Bonnie; very special daughter, Sharon Kelley; and granddaughter, Lori.
The battle is over, I have fought a good fight, and the victory is finally won.
She will lie in state at Elgin Funeral Home Wednesday, June 15th from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted graveside at High Grove Cemetery Thursday, June 16th at 10:00 AM with Pastor Phil Woods presiding.
