Margaret Denson

Margaret Denson passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, January 12, 2011, at the age of 81. She was born one of seven children in Amarillo, Texas to Norma and Thomas Cooper on June 27, 1929. About two years after graduating from Amarillo High School, she was briefly married to her first husband, Doug Lewis, a professional baseball player together they had one son, Scott Lewis in 1950. In 1956, she married Vernon Denson together they had her second son, Mark Denson in 1958. She and Vernon celebrated almost 50 years of marriage before his death in September, 2004.
