Lusia Armonta, 69, of Austin, passed away, Wedsnesday morning, February 10, 2021. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Saturday, February20th at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Christian Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM with Father George presiding. Christian Burial at Elgin Latin Cemetery following services at the church.
The epitome of elegance and steadfast faith, Lusia Armonta entered Eternal rest on February 10, 2021, after losing her ten-year battle with cancer.
A blessed event took place on June 25, 1951 at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas when Lusia was born to Elisco Armonta and Seferina Armonta .
Lusia extreme hospitality and friendship was felt throughout her family and friends. She loved her baking, music, dancing and playing bingo. Lusia was a dispatcher for Pace Setters Labor Pool for eight years.
Lusia beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her partner of twenty-five years and a friend of life, Tom Garza; her children: three daughters, Lisa Baltmore, Teresa Kemberlin, and Beth Armonta of Illinois; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her sibling, Mary Ann Perez, Tony Farry, Harry Armonta, Alberto Armonta, Ricky Armonta, and Olivia Armonta; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
