Lowell Edward Powell passed away on November 15th, 2011 at Scott and White hospital in Taylor, Texas after a brief illness. He departed this world on his 90th birthday, having been born on November 15th, 1921 to Eddie Nelson and Lucy Mae Powell in Austin, Texas. He was the fourth of six children.
