Lori Gillespie

Lori Diane Gillespie, age 52, of Dale, Texas passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 after a hardfought battle with cancer. Lori was a Staff Attorney for the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas. Before obtaining her law degree from the University of Houston, she served as a Sergeant in the Judge Advocate General39s Corp of the Texas Army National Guard. While attending law school, Lori was an intern for Justice Jack Hightower of the Texas Supreme Court. Lori was involved in the community through her service with Bastrop County Victim Services as well as providing legal translation services for members of Austin39s deaf community. Lori was a great attorney, work colleague, and mentor, but above all she was a great friend. She will truly be missed.
