Letha Juanita Murphy Christian completed her journey on earth August 8, 2012. She was born August 7, 1916 in Cherokee County, Texas to James Whitfield Murphy and Mertie Louisa Maris. Letha married Alfred Dale Christian in 1931, which preceded her in death. Letha was a longtime resident of Elgin, Texas and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
