Lessandra Sandy LindAugust 12, 1947January 19, 2014Sunday morning, January 19, 2014, Lessandra Sandy Lind of Austin, Texas, and born August 12, 1947, left this world behind to be with her Savior Jesus Christ. Shes the prettiest baby in the hospital, her father said to any that would listen. She was and became a very beautiful woman.As a child, Sandy showed a passion and talent for music and an enthusiasm for life. Due to her love of music, singing, and playing the piano, Sandy was an exceptional addition to the Hyde Park Baptist Chapel Choir. Sandy had a desire for adventure and she was never afraid of a challenge. Her natural beauty and charm allowed her to be a finalist in the Miss Teenage Austin Contest. A graduate of Baylor University, Sandy majored in Accounting and briefly worked for National Western Life Insurance Company. She was once married to her high school sweetheart, Mike Bible, and together they had two wonderful children. The greatest legacy of Sandys life is Jeff and Becky and her six grandchildren. Sandy courageously battled illness in adulthood however, she will be cherished and remembered foremost as a loving mother, daughter, and sister who touched many lives. Her family finds comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering in this world, but has everlasting peace with her Heavenly Father. She is preceded in death by her father, Leslie Lind.She is survived by her loving mother Mary Ann Lind son, Jeffrey Bible and wife Heather Martin Bible daughter, Rebecca Bible Carter and husband Clay Carter sister, Cherry Thorn and husband Addison Thorn six grandchildren, Blair and Grant Bible and Caroline, Catherine, Clara, and Cal Carter and numerous nieces and nephews.The family would especially like to thank Josephine Moreigh for her loving care and attention to Sandy. Additionally, the family is grateful to Sue Kirkland, the entire staff at Gracy Woods II Nursing Home, and Family Elder Care.
