The lord welcomed one more angel into heaven Monday morning, April 29, 2013, when Leonard Lee Booth, Jr. passed away at his home in Georgetown, Texas. Leonard was a true Patriot, serving in the US Coast Guard for 4 years during the Vietnam War.Leonard is preceded in death by his mother and father, Stella Booth and Leonard Booth, Sr. sister, Jennie niece, Cindy and motherinlaw, Willie. He is survived by wife of 39 years, Jeanne Booth two sons, Greggory and Mistie Killingsworth, Brian and Melanie Killingsworth four grandchildren, Mason, Drew, Kaycee, and Baylee all of Hutto sister and brotherinlaw, Thelma and Paul Mathews nephew, David and Stacey of Boerne, Texas fatherinlaw, George Sedberry his loving dog Maggie and many dear friends.The family will receive guests at the Elgin Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, May 2nd. A funeral service will be conducted at Elgin Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Friday, May 3rd with Brother Geary McManus officiating. Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas with Military Honors. Honoring as Pall Bearers are Paul Mathews, Tom Milburn, Andy Gardner, Steve Staton, Ted Munk, and John Long.
