I am young, but strong enough to withstand anything that comes my way, I"s old enough to stretch forth my hand stretch forth my hands to the creator and cry "Lord here am I""On December 13, 1987, in the small town of Taylor, Texas, Buck and Pauline Jones were blessed with their fifth child, a bouncing baby boy, who they named Kelly Bernard Jones.Kelly grew up in the community of Taylor, attending the public schools and graduating from Taylor High School. With his brothers, he was baptized at an early age. Kelly loved the sport of football; he started with the Pop Warner teams and continued through his years in school. He had such a passion for the game that he was a role model for the younger children. Although, Kelly"s dash was short, he was a hardworking young man and a jewel by helping others. His Mother describes as a good child, never gave us any problems"He loved his family and loved being around his family. Kelly was employed with Jack in Box as a team manager.Kelly"s life journey ended on Sunday, March 27, 2016. Kelly was blessed with twenty-eight years and he leaves in God"s hands to cherish his memories, his fianc"e, Sherri Bass and their children Serenity, Courage and Kelly Jones, Jr.; Parents, Buck and Pauline Jones, Sisters, LaTasha and her husband Billy Green, Jr., Destiny and her husband, Chris Glenn, Lisa and her husband John Moore, Lathesa and her husband, Terrence Johnson, and Christiana Jones; Brothers Bernard Jones and fianc" Melanie Mendieta, Michael Jones, Patrick Jones and Wendell Jones, Jr.; all his beautiful and precious nieces and nephews; Uncles and Aunts and a large number of cousins, a host of other relatives and friends.Kelly will be truly missed but never forgotten.
