“A Time To Be Born”
Mr. Karry Gene Barrs was born on Wednesday, February 16, 1966, to Karry and Ethyl Francis Barrs.in Austin, Texas. Karry was the sixth child and learned to love and respect everyone.
“A Time To Plant”
Karry was raised up in Austin, Texas, and graduated from Jerry McClifton Center. He knew everyone and was always a sweet, joyful and happy person that hardly complained about anything.
“A Time To Play and Work”
Karry had a lot of love for his family. Karry and his brother, Odell, shared a special bond. They enjoyed a challenge of a good football waged, Karry was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan, and loved going to Arson.
“A Time To Die”
On Friday, November 20, 2020, at the age of fifty-four, Karry was called to rest from his earthly labors. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Linda Coleman.
“A Time To Weep”
Karry leaves to cherish his memories:his sisters, Annie Louise Sorrells and Cynthia Denise Barrs of Houston, Texas, his brothers, Willie Earl Collins, Odell Collins and Ray Anthony Barrs, nieces and nephews,, aunts and uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends.
“A Time to Celebrate”
A Home-Going Memorial will be celebrated at Elgin Funeral Home, Monday, 30th at 1:00 PM with the Reverend, Roy Jones presiding. Interment at Cook-Walden Capitol Parks Cemetery will be private.
