Julian Rangel

Julian Molina Rangel, age 86, of Elgin, Texas, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, early Wednesday morning, November 25, 2015. Julian was born, one of five children, to Ladislao and Micaela Rangel, in Manor, Texas on March 16, 1929.He is survived by his one sister, Virginia Ferrales; his ex-wife, Guadalupe Rangel; his ten children, Arthur Rangel, Adrian Rangel, Julian Rangel, Jr., Rachel Snavely, Albert Rangel, Julia Samaniego, Naomi Reyes, Rosalinda Rangel, Richard Rangel, and Yvette Marquez; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He will be loved and remembered by all.The family will recieve guests at the Elgin Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with Prayer of the Holy Rosary on Sunday, November 29th. A Celebration of Christian Burial Mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin on Monday, November 30th at 10:00 AM with Father George presiding. Interment will follow at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
