Johnetta Rolff

Johnetta Haddock Rolff, 95, of Elgin, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in Austin, Texas. She was one of 11 children born to John and Lizzie Haddock on Friday, April 23, 1920 in Cooper, Texas.Johnetta, or Aunt Cootsie as she was fondly called, was a lady of many talents. She was a great cook, seamstress, but most of all the best cookie baker of all times. There was never a family gathering that she did not bring her chocolate chip or oatmeal cookies. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Rolff, Jr.; son in law, Joe Schiller and brothers and sisters.Johnetta is survived by her daughter, Joy Eisenbeck Schiller of Elgin; and special friends Jimmie and Caron Edge; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Elgin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the care they gave Johnetta and a special thank you to Crystal Williams and Sharon Mays, who lovingly watched over her in the last few months.In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Elgin, 303 North Avenue C, Elgin, Texas 78621.The Family will receive guests at the Elgin Funeral Home, Thursday, September 10th from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM. A celebration of Johnetta"s life will be held on Friday, September 11th at the Elgin Funeral Home at 10:00 AM with Pastor Amy Meyer officiating. A private interment will follow with Alwin Neidig, Jr, Leslie Parker, Kyle Bushn, Alan Stefek, Peyton Kurio and Carl Newstrom acting as Pallbearers and Howard Eisenbeck, Gary McKenzie and Jimmie Edge acting as Honorary Pallbearers.
