John Reagan

John Charles Reagan, 80, of Giddings, formerly of Elgin, passed away Saturday evening, August 26, 2017. John was the first born to Flora Roberts Reagan and John Matthew Reagan in Ironton, Missouri on June 17, 1937. After school, John joined the U.S. Air Force and served from 1954 until 1958. He moved to Texas, where he met Betty Ruth Tedford; together they had three daughters and one son. While in Texas, he served as a Police Officer for the Elgin Police Department. From Elgin, he moved to Midland, where he met Cynthia Ann Davidson. They would celebrate over 31 years of marriage before her passing in March of 2015.

John is preceded in death by both his parents, his wife, Cindy; his first born infant daughter, Dorothy Renee; his sister, Sally Kemp; and his brother, James Reagan.

He is survived by his two daughters, Carol Ann and husband Dennis Sander of Giddings and Christina Marie and husband Ronnie Fridenberg of Giddings; his son, John William Reagan and wife Kari; his two step-daughters, Debbie Barnett and Dana Haman; his step-son, Russ Huff; his 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his two brothers Richard and Larry Reagan; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
