Joe Small Jr

Joe Austell Small Jr. passed away at his Bastrop home on March 17, 2013. He was born in Austin, Texas on February 2, 1941. He is survived by his brother James E. Small, his niece, Michelle Johnson Broussard and her children Coblan, Aidan and Chandy. His two nephews Robert Andrew Small and John Maverick. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe Austell Small Sr. and Elizabeth Small and brother Robert Earl Small from Austin.Joe will be remembered and loved by many friends and family. He had charm and a real sense of humor. Joe served in the Texas National Guard and worked in the family western magazine business. He enjoyed collecting artifacts of all types. Cremation was performed and a memorial service will be arranged once all family members will be able to attend.
