Jesus Resendez

Mr. Jesus Cantu Resendez, age 49, of Elgin went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, March 11, 2013. Jesus was affectionately known as Jesse. Jesse was born in Mathis, Texas on March 25, 1963 to Fred and Martha Resendez.Jesse was a caring man who wore his heart on his shoulders, always willing to give a helping hand to anyone. He was always in great spirits, wearing a warm smile on his face. Jesses daughter was his pride and joy. Jesse leaves in Gods hands to cherish precious memories his daughter Mariah Resendez, his parents Fred and Martha Resendez, his siblings Delia Lopez, Norma Resendez, Mary Lou Resendez, Fred Resendez, Robert Resendez, and Joe Resendez, his uncles and aunts, cousins a host of nieces and nephews, and their families as well as an abundant number of other relatives and dear friends.The family will received guests at the Elgin Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, March 14th. A funeral service will be conducted at Oakwood Church at 10:00 AM Friday, March 15th with Pastor Bacillio Rodriquez officiating and Reverend Tony Munoz, eulogist. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
