Jane Sterling-Bogue

Our precious angel, Jane Elizabeth Bogue, age 9, suddenly went to be with Jesus Friday, April 13, 2012. Jane was born on September 9, 2002. She and her family had recently moved from Austin to Elgin, where she attended 3rd grade at Elgin Elementary. Jane was very artistic, loved reading books, and recently picked up a passion for crochet. As a young girl, her career goals were to be a pop star and an elementary school teacher. She had beautiful, naturallycurly blonde hair, which was always a chore to brush. She had an amazing memory, with the ability to recall random facts, including the lunch card numbers and the birthdates of her classmates. At her previous school in Austin, Boone Elementary, she won 2nd place in an allschool Spelling Bee. She was also awarded, by her principal for excellence on her scholastic performance on the STAAR exam. Jane loved God and reading her bible at night. Near and dear to her heart were her parents and her younger brother, Drew, whom she always protected.
