‘I am young but strong enough to withstand anything that comes my way, I’m old enough to stretch forth my hands to the creator and cry –
‘Lord here am I…’

“A Time to Be Born”
On the day of August 24, 1974 in Taylor, Texas, James Earl Ross and Jewel Johnson were blessed with a bouncing baby boy. This gift from God was given the name James Earl Ross, Jr. He grew up in the community of Taylor attending the public schools and graduated from Taylor High School.
“A Time To Play and Work”
James was a hard working young man – he had the opportunity to work side by side with his father, learning the trade of construction. After working many years for different companies he decided to do his own. James became the owner and HNC of his business: Junior’s Lawn Service. He had a strong foundation and was able to take trips and vacations as he desired. James and Tracey took four cruises, he visited his Aunt in Phoenix, and short getaways to Vegas. He was an active member of the #1 Stunnas Bike Riding Club, which he had a passion for his bike and the members. He loved his family and enjoyed their gatherings. James attended church as he desired, often visiting Mount Carmel Church with Tracey in Elgin.
“A Time To Die”
James earthly life journey ended on Monday, February 24, 2020.
“A Time To Celebrate”
James was blessed with forty-five years and he leaves in God’s hands to cherish his short legacy, his children, Brianna Ross, Whitney Ross, Adriana Milligan, Jay Shawn Ross, and Damarian Ross; two grandchildren, DeAndre Rozier and Jocelyn Tucay; his father, James Earl, Sr.; his mother, Jewel Johnson; his sibling, Polly Randal, Paula Caldwell, and Fred Johnson; and a large number of Uncles and Aunts; and an abundant number of cousins, a host of other relatives and friends, including the #1 Stunnas Bike family. James also leaves A long time Special Friend, Tracey Jones and her family.
