Jak Smith

Jak Ephraim Smith, Jak Jak, passed away at the age of 11 months and 14 days, on Monday, April 7, 2014. He was born to James Leonard Wert Smith II and Jewelia Audrey Smith, on Wednesday, April 24, 2014.Words cannot describe the joy and love little Jak brought to so many lives. One look in his beautiful eyes and immediately we were taken with him. He was such a sweet, beautiful, happy little boy. Full of joy, love and energy, dancing and singing with his mommy, and enjoying story time with his mommy and daddy he already had a love for music and books. He was our Sunshine Jak you may be gone from our sight, but you are never gone from our hearts.He is preceded in death by one sibling great grandmother great grandfather and second cousin.Jak is survived by his parents, Jamie and Jewelia Smith grandparents aunts uncles and cousins.The family will receive guests at the Elgin Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 15th. A funeral will be conducted at the Elgin Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 16th with Pastor, Ronald Gratehouse and Melvin Clearman officiating. Interment will follow at Speir Cemetery.
