Dear God,
As I begin a new day’s journey, I offer myself to thee completely. I place my hand in your hand and humbly ask you to guide me through this day. I do not ask you to remove any stumbling blocks but guide me safely around them.
As the music chimes in my ears, it seems to be saying peace be still. I feel a oneness and closeness to thee and feel at peace with myself. For me, this is the beginning of a new day and a new way of life. I seem to hear a voice saying, “give me light that I might see the way.” Then another voice responds, “put your hand in the hand of God, for He is brighter than any light and safer than a known way.” We ask that you show us the way of patience, tolerance, and love.
