Hortencia Mary Chavarria CondronHortencia Mary Condron, 84, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 in Austin, Texas. She was born in Elgin, Texas on Monday, May 6, 1929 to Manuel and Severa Chavarria. She was the widow of Howard Condron. Mary had an independent spirit that enabled her to work and support herself all her life. She was always in good spirits, fun loving and never met a stranger. She loved to talk and joke with people and get to know them. Marys ability to get along with everyone enabled her to be a successful caregiver most of her life. She was a good friend. She is survived by her sister in law, Lucy Resendez Chavarria and numerous extended family members and friends.The family wishes to thank Shannon Barnett for the care and friendship she provided to Mary these last years of her life.
