Helen Irene Atkins, 77, of Smithville, formerly of Austin, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 8, 2019. Family and Friends will gather at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bastrop, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 17th with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Bishop Romney presiding. Interment will follow at he Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville.
