Hattie M. McIntoshFuller celebrated 106 years on this earth and was known and loved for many accomplishments. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and great great grandmother. Each of these roles she enjoyed and never became weary of any of them. Hattie McIntosh, entered this earthly life, Tuesday, September 17, 1907. She was the fifth of eight children, born to the union of Sandy McIntosh and Isabella Williams McIntosh in Bastrop, County. Hattie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life. She attended school in Bastrop, Texas. Hattie was united in matrimony to Lee Edward Fuller December 30, 1934. To this union, seven children were born. Hattie retired from Travis State School but was also known as a community service advocate for many years. She loved to teach her granddaughters how to make biscuits, cookies and cakes during those summer visits. Hattie was a faithful member of the Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church, Bastrop, Texas where she served as a member of the Mothers Board and a deaconess until the death of her husband. Hattie joined the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Elgin, Texas in 1997 and served faithfully until her health began to fail.Hattie was a faithful member of the Powell Chapter 145, Order of Eastern Star for 50 years and was an honorary member of the Rising Star Chapter 334, Order of Eastern Star at the time of her death. Hattie was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister her husband Lee Edward Fuller and four children, son Henry Lee Fuller, daughters Maxell Fuller, Everaldon FullerHancock, Etta Faye FullerJohnson grandchildren, Donovan Johnson, Anetria GallowayFord and S. H. McShan, Jr. and one greatgrandchild, Shiffonet McShan. Hattie leaves to cherish her lifes legacy three daughters, Mattie FullerMcShan S.H. Sr.,of Elgin, Texas, Chester FullerGrant Billy of Pflugerville, Texas, Genell FullerHarris, of Austin, Texas thirteen grandchildren and five generations of great and great great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who will truly miss her.The family will receive guests at the Elgin Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, May 8th. A funeral service will be conducted at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Friday, May 9th with the Reverend, Byron Green Officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.
