Georgetta Winn

Georgetta Deary Winn, 68, of Taylor, left this earth to be reunited with her Heavenly Father, early Thursday morning, February 7, 2013. Georegetta was born June 1, 1944 to Irene Foster and George Deary, Sr. She spent her lifetime in Taylor, caring for her family. Georgetta was know by all that knew her as loving and fair to everyone.Georgetta was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, nine brothers, and two sisters.Georgetta leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Carrie Smith, Sherri Winn both of Taylor, Keisha and husband Gary Banks of Clarksville, TN, and Peggy Winn of Austin four sons, Carl Winn and wife Sheila of Thorndale, Lewis Winn, Reggie Winn, and Bobby Winn of Austin three brothers, Bennie Deary and wife Bobbie of Rockdale, Sherman Deary of Taylor, and Lawyer Simmons of California seven sisters, Annie Ruth Tanksley, Nellie Jean Weatherington and Mary and husband Daniel Thomas all of Taylor, Betty Davis, Carrie Shoaf both of Austin, Myrtle Lee Mayes, Odessa and husband Joe Fredrick of Houston eight grandchildren 18 greatgrandchildren as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Georgetta was a loving person and was loved by many.A Home Going Celebration will be conducted at Mount Calvary Baptist Church of Taylor at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 9th with Reverend Sorrels officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
