Felicitas Gonzales

Felecitas “Felise” Marciel Gonzales, 84, of Nukaty, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016, peacefully in her home. She was born November 23, 1931, in Austin, Texas. Felecitas graduated from Manor High School. She retired from the University of Texas after 11 years of service as a Food Service Specialist. After retirement, she enjoyed her time being a homemaker, doting on her grandchildren, playing Bingo, collecting Elephant figurines, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Roy Gonzales Sr.; her parents, Lorenzo Marciel, Sr. and Rita Hernandez Marciel; two sons, Edward and Ray Gonzales; brothers, Ruben and Tony Marciel; and sister, Elodia.

She is survived by her son, Roy John Gonzales, Jr. and wife Christine of Cedar Creek; her daughter, Carolyn Gonzales of Nukaty; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Holy Rosary will be held at Williams Memorial Chapel Elgin Funeral Home, Friday, August 26, 2016 at 7:00 PM. Celebration of Christian Burial Mass will be at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Manor, TX Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
