Eva Mae Fitzgerald fought a good fight…
She was born April 9, 1961, to the late Priscilla Thomas and late Marshall Fitzgerald Sr. in Elgin, Texas. Living her best life, she transitioned to her Eternal home on April 8, 2023.
Eva Mae attended the public schools in Austin, Texas, and graduated from Lanier High School. She was given a strong Christian foundation and accepted Christ at an early age. Eva lived in Austin, Texas working in the medical field as a certified nurse assistant. Making strong decisions for her family she stepped out on faith and moved to Taylor, Texas. She continued to work in the medical field, spreading out to home health and private duty nursing.
In 2018, Eva had health complication and decided to move to San Gabriel Rehabilitation and Care Center, where she was surrounded and supported by her loving caregivers.
Eva enjoyed being around family, friends, and music. Her favorite time of the day was eating a catered meal from Cotton Patch Restaurant, which was ordered and delivered by her family. She will be missed dearly by all and never forgotten.
