Eloyse King

February 23, 1930 — December 10, 2017

Eloyse E. King, 87, passed away peacefully at the Argent Court Assisted Living Facility, on Sunday morning, December 10, 2017. Eloyse was born on February 23, 1930 to James and Alma Roulston. She was an outgoing, people person and loved old time country music and playing games, especially Bingo. She also loved cooking and loved her family dearly. She had a strong faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elgin for many years.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, AD Davis; her son, John E. King; both her parents; and her brother, James Roulston, Jr.
She is survived by her nephew, Ricky Roulston and wife Tanya; her two nieces, Peggy Butler and Jenette Whitaker and husband Keith; her great-nephew, Derek Butler; and many other family and dear friends. She had a special bond with her best friend, Verlyne Hosea and good friend/neighbor, Steve Slawson.

The family greatly acknowledges, with deep appreciation, all expressions of love and kindness shown during our time of bereavement. We also extend a special thank you to the members of the Argent Court Assisted Living Facility and Resolution Hospice. The dedication and kindness shown was a heartwarming blessing to our family.
