El Mcshan

On March 11, 1930 a baby boy, named ElRoy McShan was born to Lee Roy McShan and Lucy Reese McShan in the Young39s Prairie Community, Bastrop, County, Texas. He attended Chapel Ann School and Washington High School. Elroy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1939 and was baptized by the Reverend, S.M. Metters, Sr. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. On October 14, 1950, he met and married Mattie B. Simmons. To this union four children were born.
