Durward Greenhaw

Durward Ray Greenhaw went to be with his Lord and Savior at the Elgin Nursing and Rehab Center on Friday evening, October 21, 2011. He was born, the third of eleven children to John Thomas Greenhaw and Myrtle Rutherford Greenhaw, on August 30, 1915 in McDade, Bastrop County, Texas. On September 9, 1947, Durward married the love of his life, Mattie Elizabeth Freeman. No children were born to this union, but he lovingly raised his stepson, Jimmy Edge as his own.
