DuJuan Treyvion -Lee Green, 30, went to be with his Heavenly Father, surrounded by his son, mother, grandmother and loving family on Wednesday evening, November 29, 2023.
DuJuan was born to Glen DuJuan Armstead and Angela Latrice Green on December 22, 1992, in Phoenix Arizona. Being the only son, DuJuan brought his mother so much joy. At the age of six DuJuan, his mother and grandmother moved to Austin to be back home with their family. He attended school at Winn Elementary, Manor Middle School and LBJ High School where he graduated in June of 2011. He attended Navarro College with a major in Kinesiology.
DuJuan accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Pleasant Bethany Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Don G. Cypress. In May of 2000 he moved his membership to the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a faithful member until he lost his brave and long battle with auto immune pancreatitis.
On January 16, 2016, he became a father to his son, DuJuan Green Jr., and on March 31, 2020, he was blessed with his daughter, Damani Green. He loved being a father to his kids, he also loved to cook, play video games and loved posting and clowning on Facebook. Many knew him as “Debo.”
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lee Arthur Green; great-uncle/ bonus grandfather, Louis Green; great-grandparents, Erma and Louis Green; and Clemmie and Anton Smith Sr.
DuJuan leaves to cherish his love and memory his children, DuJuan Jr. and Damani; his mother, Angela; father, Glen; grandmother, Margie Green; special sister, Chanel Thixbeaux; special little sister, Arbornae Foreman; special brother, Jalen Washington; special great-aunt, Nell Green; aunts, Terricita Ward and Tobie Armstead both of Phoenix Arizona, Bobbie Davis (Lonnie), Tonya Lofton (Earl), Gayle Green, Theresa Green, Michon Green; uncles, Byron Green (Okycha), Louis Green (Paula), Keith Robinson; special uncle, Melvin Green; and numerous great aunts, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Family and Friends will gather for Visitation at Elgin Funeral Home Friday, December 8th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday, December 9th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Byron Green presiding and Pastor T. L. Garner, eulogist. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
