Dorothy Lewis

Dorothy B. Powell Lewis, 88, of Austin passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 29, 2011 after a long battle with Emphysema. She was born March 19, 1923, to James Clyde and Ova Lee Powell in Falls County, Texas. Dorothy was raised in the Travis, Texas and in her youth was Captain of the school39s Basketball team. Over twenty years ago, she retired with the Austin State Hospital as an Occupational Therapist. In retirement, she loved quilting and spending time with all of her grandchildren.
